The TCR UK Touring Car Championship will see its champions awarded with a test drive in a BTCC car at the end of the 2025 season.
In association with Maximum Motorsport and championship partner Goodyear, the 2025 TCR UK Drivers champion, Gen 1 Cup champion and Goodyear Diamond Award champion will get the chance to drive a current spec BTCC car.
This new prize brings the worlds of the TCR UK Touring Car Championship and the British Touring Car Championship closer, providing an opportunity for those who have been successful during the 2025 season to try out a BTCC car.
Part of the many changes that TCR UK has undergone over the winter includes moving to the British Automobile Racing Club and bringing both touring car championships under the same club.
Micky Butler, Manager at Goodyear Tyres, is pleased to have Goodyear providing this opportunity as an end-of-season prize to this year’s champions.
“Drivers put in a lot of hard work during a race season, so it’s good to see that the three champions from TCR UK this year will be rewarded with the opportunity to step up to the next level and test drive a current BTCC spec car,” said Micky.

Championship Promoter Stewart Lines welcomes the support of long-time championship partner Goodyear.
