TCR UK Championship leader Callum Newsham will drive a Hyundai Elantra N TCR in the final two race weekends of the 2025 season, as he bids to claim his first driver’s title.
Newsham moves across to the Elantra model, having driven the i30 N TCR in the first five weekends of the season.
The JH Racing driver holds a six-point advantage in the title chase over Adam Shepherd, with three wins and a further seven podium finishes to his credit so far this year.
The Elantra will also be making its return to the championship, having been driven by both Josh Files and Luke Sargeant during the 2023 season.
This move puts Newsham on the front foot in the title fight at both Snetterton in September and the finale at Brands Hatch in November.
Callum is excited to get started with the Hyundai Elantra.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be racing our new Hyundai Elantra N TCR for the remainder of the season. With the potential of the Elantra and the incredible team behind me, I truly believe we can fight for race wins straight away and give me the best possible opportunity of fighting for the TCR UK Title,” explained Callum.

Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing Manager Benoit Nogier is pleased to see the Elantra make its return to TCR UK and supports Callum’s title effort.
