Teenage driver Jenson O’Neill-Going will make his debut in the 2025 TCR UK season finale at Brands Hatch, becoming the youngest driver ever to compete in the championship.

Jenson will be driving an iconic model when he makes his debut, as the fan favourite Subaru WRX STi TCR run by Jamsport Racing makes its return. This will be the first time Jenson has driven the Subaru.

The sixteen-year-old driver already boasts an impressive motorsport CV, having made his debut in the Fiesta Junior Championship at fourteen years old, before taking the overall, Rookie, and Mk6 titles in 2024.

Having tested various cars throughout the year, the Northamptonshire-based driver’s next challenge is making his Touring Car debut at the Kent venue.

Jamsport Racing Team Owner Jamie Going is proud to see his son join the TCR UK grid.

“I’m very proud to see Jenson make his debut in TCR UK as he looks ahead to the next step in his motorsport career. Being the youngest driver on the grid will provide a further challenge as he learns about the Subaru during a race weekend,” explained Jamie.

“We chose the Subaru for the season finale, remembering its following as a favourite amongst the fans, so it will be great to see it back in action once again. There is no pressure on Jenson, Brands Hatch is all about him gaining experience and being part of the TCR UK Paddock.”

Championship Manager Jack Finlan welcomes Jenson to the championship as he prepares for his debut.

“I’m pleased to welcome Jenson to the grid officially as the youngest driver to ever race in the championship. Following a successful Fiesta Junior campaign where he won the championship, I’m looking forward to seeing how he gets on during such an important race weekend in TCR UK,” said Jack.

“Having the Subaru back on the grid also adds to the already diverse nature of TCR cars we’ll have in action at Brands Hatch, which is building to be an exciting season finale.”
