Bert Taylor is proud to reveal that he will return for his third season in the TCR UK paddock, returning with new team Taylor Racing Developments (TRD).
Announced at the 2024 Autosport International Show, Bert will reveal his plans at a later date as to what cars and drivers will be involved with TRD, as they compete for the 2024 TCR UK Touring Car Championship.
TRD’s presence within TCR UK for the new season once again highlights Bert’s passion for the TCR concept as well as his support.
With his wealth of knowledge in motorsport ranging from Touring Cars to Stock Car racing and beyond, Bert knows how to go racing successfully, a goal which he looks forward to doing with new outfit TRD.
As the 2024 TCR UK Touring Car Championship looks forward to a brand new exciting season, which starts at Brands Hatch on the Indy circuit on 13-14 April, Bert is excited about starting this new era within the championship.
“I’m very proud to bring Taylor Racing Developments to the 2024 TCR UK Touring Car Championship. When we moved to TCR UK with Honda in 2022, it was clear how exciting and competitive TCR UK had become, with plenty of hard work going on behind the scenes from Stewart Lines, Nicki Lines and the team,” explained Bert.
“Winning the title in 2022 was a massive reward for the team after all its efforts. Whilst 2023 required more hard work as the level of competitiveness grew, it’s also clear that the championship itself took another step forward and that’s why, for 2024, I’m back with a new team to take on the challenge of fighting for the top honours in TCR UK.”
