Bradley Hutchison is aiming to show that the underdog can prevail in the 2023 TCR UK Touring Car Championship, as the West Yorkshire-based driver returns for his second season, retaining his iconic Bond-It Sponsorship for a second year in a row.

Staying with the family-run MPH Racing Audi RS3 LMS TCR that he drove in 2022, Bradley is confident about his chances as other teams elect to bring newer cars to the championship in 2023.

Already familiar with the Audi, which as a TCR Brand enjoyed its first year in TCR UK last year, Bradley was able to show in the second half of the season that the car was a competitive model, where he took two second-place finishes at Castle Combe and Snetterton respectively.

Bradley’s Audi will run with a tweaked livery for the new season, reflecting the changes for this year. With newer models being entered for the 2023 season, Bradley’s aim is to make sure that the team get the best from the car now that they have found its sweet spot for setup.

“Last year was a learning year for us and during the second half of the season, we found the car’s sweet spot, allowing me to move further up the grid and start to claim podium places. We’re now looking forward to a better season in 2023,” explained Bradley.

“Whilst there are newer models of TCR car entering the championship, we have a known product which gives us an edge. We know the car and the circuits, and we have the data to work on and improve from last year. I took podium finishes last season but everyone wants to go out and win and that’s where I’m aiming for: the top step.”
