Multiple TCR UK race winner Jac Constable returns for his third season in the championship, as for 2023, he moves to Rob Boston Racing, driving an AUDI RS3 LMS TCR Generation 2.

Constable, who has raced in the last two seasons of the TCR UK Touring Car Championship with Power Maxed Racing in a CUPRA TCR, becomes the latest driver to sign up for the new season with a new generation Audi TCR machine.

Rob Boston Racing joins the massed ranks of new teams making their debut in 2023, having already seen success in previous championships such as the Ginetta GT4 Supercup as well as securing the 2022 British Endurance Championship, 2022 BRSCC Mazda MX-5 SuperCup and Mazda MX-5 Championship.

Having been in the title fight for the last two seasons, 2023 provides Jac with a new team, a new car and a new opportunity to go out and try to claim that elusive title. The Audi pilot finished sixth in the driver’s championship in 2021 and then went one better with fifth place in last year’s standings.

“I’m looking forward to the new season and having tested the car recently, I’m already impressed with the new Audi. It felt fast right out of the box, and I have the confidence that I can push the car already, knowing that there is more seat time to come before the season starts in April,” explained Jac.

“Working with Rob Boston and the team means that I can go out and fight for the 2023 TCR UK title. Armed with the latest Gen2 Audi, I can now get to grips with the car and improve on the last two seasons by aiming to be top at the end of the year.”

Rob Boston, Team Principal of Rob Boston Racing, spoke about the team’s move into the TCR UK Touring Car Championship with Jac for 2023.

“We’ve been very successful in junior championships in previous years including Ginetta Supercup, the British Endurance Championship and Mazda’s to name a few. We’ve also kept an eye on TCR UK as it flourished over the past two seasons and I’m very excited to be able to have the chance to be a part of the grid in 2023,” explained Rob.

“We had a meeting with Jac at the Autosport Show and the deal came together pretty quickly. To be able to arrive as a new team with a brand new TCR car and an accomplished race winner like Jac is a great way to begin for us. We’re taking each race weekend as it comes, giving Jac the best support possible for his season.”

Jac will be revealing the livery of his Rob Boston Racing Audi RS3 LMS TCR II on the day before the TCR UK Media Day. The Livery on the Audi has been designed by one of Jac’s sponsors for this year: Joyce Design UK Ltd.
