Talented teenager Hugo Cook has confirmed that having contested selected events in 2021, he will return to the TCR UK Championship for a full-season campaign in 2022.

Cook will once again be behind the wheel of an Audi RS3 LMS TCR but this time with the car that was raced in TCR Europe last year by Nicolas Baert.

Backed by in his family-run team in 2021, Cook impressed on his debut in the series at Silverstone where he took fifth place in race one and went on to take his best finish of the season with third place in the final race of the year at Donington Park.

The seventeen year-old’s campaign will an Audi contest a full season in TCTR UK for the first time and with his 2021 experience in mind, is aiming high for 2022:

“Last year was a big learning curve for me. However, I settled-in with the Audi very quickly, was pleased with the performance and was able to extract some good results from my various appearances.

“Being a full-time entry this year, I’m hoping to be a consistent podium visitor and make sure that I score well in each race, even if the podium is out of reach.

“Returning as one of the smaller teams has its challenges but we punched above our weight last year and I’m confident we can do it again this year!”
