31-year-old Darelle Wilson will be starting his 3rd year of competing in the TCR UK championship at Oulton Park this Saturday.

After finishing in 3rd position in last year’s championship, Wilson hopes to get off to a good start at the opening round of the 2020 TCR UK series

At the final meeting held at Donington Park last season, Darelle and the team found the cars “Sweet Spot” and with the help of Marcus from V-Max successfully qualified in pole position.

As with many [drivers], this year finding funds has proved very difficult with for the Birmingham based squad, with the intrusion of the Covid-19 pandemic forcing many companies to tighten their purse strings but running on a shoestring is nothing new to the “friends & family team” who hope to carry on where they left of last season.

The shortened season may play into the team’s hands as the limited budget that they have does not have to stretch so far which will give Darelle a better chance of competing on equal terms.
