Former TCR UK race winner Darelle Wilson will return to the grid for the 2025 Brands Hatch finale on 1-2 November, as DW Racing expand to a two-car entry.
Darelle will be back in the Vauxhall Astra TCR, which he has campaigned since making his TCR UK debut back in 2018. The DW Racing team owner will join 2025 regular driver Alex Jones for the final two races of the year.
The Astra will be sporting a new livery as Darelle is being backed by both Trade Nation and long-time partner Aalco for his return next weekend.
The West Midlands-based driver has been overseeing Alex Jones’ effort in 2025, as he competes in the Gen 1 Cup in the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR in his first season in the championship.
Following testing at Brands Hatch this week, Darelle is already aiming to make a splash on his return.
“I’m thrilled to confirm my return to TCR UK in November, where I’m looking forward to being on the grid for the season finale. Running Alex in his car this year has been a great experience, and I’m excited to join him on track as we expand to two cars,” said Darelle.
“The Astra will be sporting a new livery thanks to backing from both Aalco and Trade Nation, so I’m excited to get back on track with my aim to finish as high up the order as I can. 2025 has been a challenging year for me personally, so I’m aiming to sign it off on a high.”
Championship Manager Jack Finlan is pleased to see Darelle announce his return to the championship.
