Brad Hutchison has announced that he will contest the 2026 season with his family-run team as he sets his sights on this year’s driver’s title.

2025 was a step forward for Brad, as he took victory in the 99th TCR UK race, held at Donington Park back in April, and followed this up with a further six visits to the podium during the seventeen-race season. The MPH Racing driver ended the year in fourth place in the standings, having been a title contender throughout the 2025 season.

In 2026, a new title sponsor will be on board in the form of Elland Roofing Supplies. However, the choice of car will be revealed soon, with several models under consideration by the team.

Now entering his fifth season in the TCR UK Touring Car Championship and having been a title contender for the last two years, there is only one aim for the Yorkshire-based driver.

“I’m very happy to say that I’ll be back in 2026, and this is the year when I go for the driver’s title. We’ve been in the title fight for the last two years in a row, we have plenty of experience in TCR UK and running various TCR cars, so this is it,” explained Brad.

“I’m very grateful to Elland Roofing Supplies, who come on board as our new title sponsor, and I look forward to revealing which car we will be using in the near future. There are no excuses anymore and no hiding. It’s the 2026 TCR UK Title, and we’ll give our all to win it this year.”

Championship Manager Jack Finlan welcomes back Brad, Martin, and the team as they embark on their fifth season in TCR UK

“Brad, Martin and MPH Racing embody the true lad and dad family-run team in touring car racing, and they have taken the fight to the bigger teams each year. In the last two years, they have been title contenders and shown that they can punch above their weight, showing the true spirit of TCR,” said Jack.

“Brad is a race winner, and the team has often shown that they can overcome adversity and show their best work on track. I look forward to seeing which model of TCR car the team chooses and wish them all the best ahead of the new season.”
