Harry Bloor becomes the latest driver to confirm his place in the TCR UK Touring Car Championship as next year’s grid continues to grow.

Harry will drive a Power Maxed Racing Hyundai i30 N TCR as part of the Junior Touring Car Programme and continue racing in the Rotax karting class between events.

Beginning his motorsport adventure in karting in 2022, Harry joined Precision Racing.

2023 was a defining season, entering the British Karting Championship, where he finished in third place overall in the end-of-season standings and was also recognised as the top rookie in the championship. Adding to his accolades, Harry also finished in second place in the Shenington SuperPrix.

Staying in the same class in this year’s British Karting Championship, he took wins at both Whilton Mill and Rowrah.

2025 will be Harry’s third year of racing in motorsport, where his rapid rise and determination means that he step up from karting, straight in touring car racing.

Having already tested the Hyundai as part of the Junior Driver taster day that took place at Donington Park earlier this month, Harry is excited to be a part of the TCR UK field next year.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of competing in the TCR UK Touring Car Championship next year, where I get to drive the amazing Hyundai i30 N TCR. The car was great to drive during the recent test, and it was clear to me this is where I want to race as the next step in my motorsport career,” said Harry.

“I’m incredibly grateful to my mechanic, Carl Bagley, and Precision Racing Team Leader, Jake Coward, for all of their support during my karting and moving into touring cars. Joining PMR gives me a really good chance to hit the ground running in my first year of car racing with such an experienced team.”

Power Maxed Racing Team Principal Martin Broadhurst welcomes Harry to the team ahead of the 2025 season.

“It’s great to start the New Year with some positive news and we are delighted to welcome Harry into the TCR UK Junior program, it will be a busy few weeks ahead as we embark on the journey with Harry,” said Martin.

“We have a strong background in nurturing young drivers which I think shows with our record of 4 times Jack Sears champions, making PMR the most successful team in BTCC history for this category. It will be exciting to get started with preparations as we look to the first round at Donington Park in March.”

TCR UK Championship Promoter Stewart Lines welcomes the news of Harry becoming the latest young driver to join the Junior programme for next year.

“Harry is a real rising star who will move into touring car racing for only his third year in motorsport, an impressive achievement that speaks for itself. It’s great to see Harry join the Junior Touring Car Team and take this opportunity to move into TCR UK,” said Stewart.

“I welcome Harry to the championship and will be keen to see how he performs in his first year in car racing. It’s not easy for young drivers to move up the motorsport ladder. However, Harry is proof that any young driver can achieve the goals they set out.”
