The TCR UK Touring Car Championship is proud to welcome on board Big Motoring World as its latest championship partner ahead of the 2024 season.
Big Motoring World are a UK based, second-hand car dealership which employs over 1000 members of staff at over 10 locations around the country.
Starting back in 1986 under the leadership of CEO, Peter Waddell, the business began with a humble 20 car pitch in the village of Teynham. Today, Big Motoring World has expanded around the UK, with the relocation of their headquarters to Gillingham in Kent.
Just like the TCR concept, which globally has over 40 championships and 29 homologated models from 16 different brands, Big Motoring World offers a range of over 7,000 cars on sale from their eight car supermarkets around the UK.
The beauty of the TCR concept is its focus on customer racing, meaning that many of the cars taking part in TCR Competition around the world, have a story of previous TCR Series that they have seen action in.
Bringing the old adage of “Race on Sunday, Buy on Monday” back to the forefront of both Motorsport and High-Quality second-hand car purchasing, many of the cars that are seen on track during a TCR UK race weekend, also have their road-going counterparts on sale.
Big Motoring World will be present on all of the cars during the Pre-Season Launch Day at Snetterton on Thursday 28th March and again during the opening weekend at Brands Hatch on 13-14 April for the first three rounds of the year.
Plans for further involvement within the Championship will be announced in due course.
