Reining Touring Car Trophy Champion Henry Neal has confirmed that he’ll be making a return to the grid this year. The four-time race winner in 2020 will line up for the opening rounds of the 2021 Goodyear Touring Car Trophy at Silverstone on 25th April driving the same Team Dynamics Motorsport Honda Civic NGTC he used to good effect last year.

Having scored two wins and a second place in the final meeting at Donington in October, Henry hopes that he can continue from where he left off in the first two races at Silverstone. However, with an influx of quick drivers and rising talent following this season’s restructuring of the championship, he’s well aware the result is no foregone conclusion.

I couldn’t have asked for a better run in the Touring Car Trophy last year. To secure seven podium finishes from the season’s seven races is as much as I could have hoped for”, said Henry.

With organisers making revisions to the championship and raising its profile, there’s been a great deal of interest and it means there’s going to be a bigger and stronger field this year.  Therefore, it’s going to be a tough call to maintain the same level of results. But I like a challenge and I can’t wait to see how I get on against the increased competition.

Team Dynamics Motorsport are hoping to enter a second Honda Civic NGTC and in doing so, mount a two-car Goodyear Touring Car Trophy assault. Consequently, the team is inviting drivers to get in touch if they would like to become part of an exciting race programme, supported by a multi-British Touring Car Championship winning team: +44 (0)1905 793800 /  wn@tdm.uk.com
