Bruce Winfield has taken pole position for the first Goodyear Touring Car Trophy / TCR UK race of the day at Donington Park as series leader Lewis Kent starts last on the grid in the Hyundai i30 N TCR.

The Area Motorsport driver set a time of 1:10.652 in his CUPRA TCR DSG to secure pole with returning driver Alex Morgan securing the second spot on the front row in his Power Maxed Racing CUPRA TCR with a time of 1:10.908.

Lewis Kent however will start from the back of the grid for race one and three after all four of his laps set during the session were disallowed due to track limits violations, meaning the series leader has work to do to defend his points advantage.

Bradley Kent is the next title contender on the grid in third place, being the highest Essex and Kent Motorsport driver, where Jac Constable joins him on the second row in his CUPRA TCR.

Max Hart lines up in fifth place on the grids with Hugo Cook putting his Audi RS3 LMS in sixth place with Andy Wilmot and William Butler on an all CUPRA row four. Isaac Smith will start his first ever Goodyear Touring Car Trophy / TCR UK race from ninth place with Jack Depper completing the top ten.

Both Darelle Wilson and Tom Hibbert will start on rox six with the two Astra’s side by side, whilst second place in the standings Dan Kirby has work to do from thirteenth on the grid ahead of Danny Krywyj, Mark Smith and Kent.

With the race three grid decided by the second-fastest times in Qualifying, Morgan will start on pole ahead of Winfield on the front row, with Constable and Hart sharing row two.

Hugo Cook and Bradley Kent will start on row three whilst the fourth row has both Butler and Wilmot, with Krywyj and Hibbert completing the top ten positions.

Isaac Smith and Kirby are on row six, whilst Wilson, Depper, Mark Smith and Lewis Kent complete the race three grid.
