Manufacturer of premium quality lubricants and vehicle care products Liqui Moly has been announced it will become a main sponsor of the TCR UK Championship, in a deal that will continue until the end of 2024.
A brand that has become synonymous with motorsport in recent years, due to its high-profile association with championships and competitors all over the world, German-based Liqui Moly sees its association with TCR UK as a significant step toward an increased presence in the UK and enables it to extend its already established association with this global, burgeoning touring car category.
“Together with our partners around the world, we are strengthening our international brand presence at races and events”, explains Tim Keller, Liqui Moly Export Area Manager.
“We already have tie-ups with TCR series’ and teams in a number of countries. So, to add the UK championship to the list and in doing so, increase our brand presence in Britain makes perfect sense, especially at a time when TCR UK is clearly growing in size and popularity.
“I therefore look forward to working with the organisers and competing teams to establish and develop our new association, whilst at the same time promote our range of products to the championship’s rapidly increasing audience. Exciting times ahead!”
This new association will see Liqui Moly become the championship’s preferred lubricants supplier. All of the competing cars will display the company’s distinctive red and blue branding, with further exposure generated during the course of the season via the championship’s television broadcasts and online activity.

A factor of this new association will see Maximum Motorsport – which owns and promotes the TCR UK and the Milltek Sport Civic Cup championships and is the official CUPRA Sport and Audi Sport Customer Racing distributor in the UK – become a Liqui Moly stockist.
