Following an excellent showing in last year’s cut-back three-meeting, nine-race championship, Tim Docker has signaled his intentions for 2021 by registering for this year’s revitalised version of the Goodyear Touring Car Trophy incorporating TCR UK.

Tim, from the West Midlands, will drive the same Maximum Motorsport prepared VW Golf TCR he has campaigned to good effect over the past two seasons.

Whilst an acknowledged endurance racing specialist, Tim plans to line up on the TCR UK grid at Silverstone for round one on 25th April intrigued to see the level of competition and the changes that have been instigated by the Touring Car Trophy organisers.

“I really enjoyed my outings in the TCR UK Championship in 2020. From what I’ve heard and with all the changes taking place, it’s going to be an even better year for TCR in the UK in 2021.

“I’m looking forward to the season-opener at Silverstone and finding out first-hand what’s in store for this year, especially as it looks like the competition is going to be pretty tough in the Touring Car Trophy, so we should see some exciting racing.”
